Temecula Outgrown Game Attire (TOGA) (updated 04/01/2008 at 12:34 AM)

TVSA has developed a new program called TOGA (Temecula Outgrown Game Attire) in which TVSA will collect and distribute outgrown (not old) soccer equipment (uniforms, cleats, cones, etc.) to less fortunate players/organizations/leagues.

TOGA will begin collecting donations at all Spring soccer fields starting on Opening Day Saturday, March 29. Please bring any gently used soccer gear/uniforms to your game and their will be a place to drop-off the equipment. The other date for the Spring season for drop-off will be the last game of the season, May 17. Thanks for your support.

3 v 3 Tournament (updated 05/07/2008 at 08:18 PM)

Jenn Guinn the Junior Hawks Director is organizing the recreational players 3 v 3 Tournament! This tournament is for U6-U10 divisions. Each team should have 5 players on them, they can be coed and all should come from the same recreational team and their recreational coaches should coach them, with their recreational uniforms. IT IS FREE!

On Saturday's May 10th and May 17th we will have a table for sign ups at the PIT and Pala from 10 AM-11:00 AM. We will take the first 8 teams in each age group who sign up.

The 3 v 3 will be May 22nd from 4:30-8:30 at Harveston, Hawks coaches and players will be there to set up and to run the event.

Medals are in! (updated 05/08/2008 at 03:07 PM)

Medals for all divisions are available today at Automotive Specialties. Please come visit the office between 9 AM and 5 PM to pick up these items. Only coaches or team managers may pick them up. All players in all divisions will receive medals.

NOTICE: Medals for the U8 through U18 divisions will only be released to coaches or team managers AFTER THE COACH HAS COMPLETED THEIR PLAYER RATINGS, ON-LINE VIA THE TVSA WEBSITE. It takes 24 hours for the website to update our lists, so we recommend that coaches get their ratings done immediately. Please do not show up and expect to receive these items without the ratings being completed and verified. Please visit the Coaches section for more information on rating players and how to do so.

Spring Recreational Training (updated 04/07/2008 at 05:18 PM)

Are you looking for additional training for your child but don't know where to turn? The Hawks (the TVSA competitive side) is always looking for ways to help provide training to recreational players. There are three upcoming training sessions targeted for 5 to 8 year olds. The best part is that the sessions are free! The following training dates are now available:

- Friday, April 11th, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM
- Sunday, April 27th 2008 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM
- Friday, May 9th, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM

All sessions will be held at "The Pit" (southeast corner of the Ronald Regan Sports Park next to the skate park). After all the training sessions are completed, a fun 3v3 tournament will be held on May 22nd. We will post more information about the tournament as the date gets closer. We hope to have a great turnout for these sessions.

Fall 2008 Registration (updated 03/27/2008 at 11:34 PM)

TVSA will be holding registration days for the Fall 2008 season. We will be having two days at Pala Park on 5/3/2008 and 5/17/2008 from 10AM until 2PM. A third date will be held on 6/14/2008 at the Ronald Regan Sports Park from 9AM until 3PM.

Prices for the Fall season are $85 for the first child and $75 for each additional sibling. These prices are for Temecula residents. Costs for non-residents are $95 for the first child and $85 for each additional sibling signed up at the same time. First time players in TVSA must provide proof of age at registration, in the form of a government issued birth certificate or passport. Returning players do not require proof of age. If you want to get a jump start on the registration form, you may fill out the form online by clicking here. After filling out the form, print one copy, sign it and then bring it with you to the office.

Minimum age is 4 years old as of 7/31/2008. The maximum age is 17 as of the same date. Fall practice will commence in August and the games will start late/August or early September and run thru about mid November.

Anyone who is interested in coaching in the Fall season must also fill out a Program Administrator Registration Form. This can also be downloaded and filled out online. After filling out the form, print one copy, sign it and bring it with you to the office.

Soccer Tennis Tournament (updated 05/06/2008 at 02:42 AM)

The Hawks will be holding the very first soccer Tennis Tournament! The date will be June 22, 2008 and will be an official ASTO (American Soccer Tennis Organization) event and will be a qualifier for the National Soccer tennis event to be held in las Vegas in November. This event will be for U11 to adult (YES, we want all of the coaches to play!). The team entry is $150 and each team should consist of 3-5 players. The event will be on the back fields at Great Oak High School.

Mark the Date, drum up support and get yourselves READY to PLAY and HAVE SOME FUN!!!

FUNdamental Soccer Camps (updated 03/25/2008 at 10:03 PM)

The Hawks will be holding FUNdamental soccer camps this summer. The objective is to teach our young players the proper techniques of Soccer in a fun, learning, creative environment by the professional staff of the TVSA Hawks. The players will learn and develop the proper techniques that will help them enjoy the game of Soccer. Please visit the Hawks website or click here for more information.

Trash

Just a gentle reminder to please be considerate of your surroundings and to others on game day and pickup your area after each game. If you see a team leaving their side of the field without picking up their trash, please notify a league official at the field or contact us via the website.

TVSA Needs Volunteers

TVSA is always looking for new volunteers. With the rate of growth in our great city, our league grows portionally as much. This means that our need for volunteers grows as well. The TVSA recreational and TOPS divisions are run solely by volunteers. We are dedicated to creating a fun, safe and educational experience for all of the young children that participate in our organization. Making this happen requires a special team of people.
